Ralley's event guidelines
These guidelines apply to anyone creating or hosting events on Ralley. They exist to make sure events on the platform are professional, accurate and respectful of attendees.
Be accurate
Your event listing must accurately represent what attendees can expect. The title, description, format, date, time, location and any other details should be truthful and not misleading. If details change after publishing, update your event and attendees will be notified automatically.
Keep it professional
Events on Ralley should be relevant to a professional audience. Ralley is not the right platform for events that primarily exist to sell unrelated products or services, run promotions, or solicit attendees for purposes unrelated to professional development or networking.
Respect attendees
As an organiser you are responsible for the experience you deliver. This means communicating clearly, honouring your stated refund policy, responding to attendee requests within a reasonable timeframe and meeting the minimum standards set out in the Organiser Refund Policy.
Set a clear refund policy
If your event has paid tickets, you must display a clear refund policy on your event page. If you don’t provide one, Ralley’s default Organiser Refund Policy applies. Regardless of your stated policy, full refunds are required in certain situations. Read the Organiser Refund Policy for details.
No illegal or harmful events
Do not create events intended to advertise or facilitate illegal goods or services, promote violence, incite hatred toward any group or person, or otherwise breach Ralley’s Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Use.
Protect attendee information
Only collect personal information from attendees that is necessary for the administration of your event. Do not use attendee data for purposes outside of the event they registered for.
Consequences of breaching these guidelines
Ralley may remove events, suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in breach of these guidelines or the platform’s Terms of Use. In serious cases Ralley may refer matters to law enforcement.
Reporting an event
If you believe an event breaches these guidelines, select the ellipsis menu on the event page and choose Report. To report a specific Board post on an event, select the ellipsis on the post and choose Report. For anything else contact Ralley support at support@ralley.com.au.
