Creating your first event
Select Create from the top navigation to get started. Ralley will walk you through each step and you can save your progress at any time.
What you’ll need
Creating events on Ralley requires either a Standard or Premium subscription plan. If you’re on the Free plan, head to Plans in your account menu to upgrade before getting started.
Title & Cover
Give your event an attractive title and subtitle, then upload a cover photo. You can upload up to 10 images and select one as your cover. A strong title and visual goes a long way in capturing the right audience.
Audience
Select the industry your event belongs to and add relevant tags. This is how Ralley makes your event discoverable to the right people. You’ll also set whether the event is public or private here.
Time & Location
Set your event start and end date and time. Add your venue address for in-person events, or toggle to online if your event is running virtually. Hybrid events can include both.
Content Body
Write the main description for your event page. Use this space to tell people what the event is about, who it’s for and what they can expect to get out of it.
Tickets
Set up your ticket types, pricing and capacity. You can create multiple ticket categories, such as Standard, Early Bird or Free, and set limits on each. You’ll also set a booking deadline here so attendees know when tickets close.
Agenda
Build out a structured agenda for your event. Add as many items as you need, including the time, activity and a description for each session.
Hosts & Speakers
Add hosts to help manage your event. You can add hosts from your connections or enter their details manually. An invite will be sent to any added host and they’ll be confirmed once accepted. You can also add speakers and guests to your event page here.
FAQ
Add any frequently asked questions relevant to your event. This is a good place to address things like parking, dress code, what to bring or anything else attendees commonly ask.
Review & Publish
Once you’ve worked through each step, review your event details and publish. You can go back and edit any section before publishing, and most details can be updated after the event goes live if something changes.
