Ralley's ticketing fees explained
Ralley charges a small service fee on paid tickets. Here’s how it works and what to expect.
How the service fee works
A ticket processing fee of 4.5% + $1 is applied to each paid ticket sold through Ralley. This fee is added on top of the ticket price set by the organiser and is displayed to attendees at checkout before they complete their purchase, so there are no surprises on either side.
For example, a $15.00 ticket would have a processing fee of $1.68 applied (4.5% of $15.00 = $0.68, plus $1.00), bringing the total to $16.68.
Who pays the service fee
The service fee is paid by the attendee at the time of purchase. As an organiser, the amount you set as your ticket price is what you receive, minus any applicable taxes or payment processing fees charged by Stripe.
How payments are processed
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a ticket through Ralley, attendees authorise the organiser and Stripe to charge their chosen payment method for the ticket price plus any applicable service charges or taxes. Ralley does not store or process card details directly.
Free tickets
No service fee is applied to free tickets. Free tickets go through the same registration flow without any payment being required.
Service fees are non-refundable
Ralley’s service fee is non-refundable even when a ticket refund is issued to an attendee. Refunds for paid tickets are the responsibility of the organiser. Ralley does not issue refunds directly unless in exceptional circumstances such as evidence of fraud or repeated failure by an organiser to respond to refund requests. For full details read the Organiser Refund Policy.
Where to see fee breakdowns
Attendees can see the full cost breakdown including the service fee on the checkout screen before completing their purchase. Organisers can view transaction history under Subscription & Billing in Account Settings.
