How event discovery works on Ralley
Ralley is designed to surface events that are actually relevant to you, not just whatever is most popular or recently listed. Here’s how it works.
It starts with your profile
When you create your account, you select the industries you work in or are interested in. This is the foundation of how Ralley personalises your experience. The events you see on the discover page are filtered around these industries, so you’re not wading through things that have nothing to do with your work.
You can update your industries at any time from your profile if your interests change.
Your location matters too
Ralley uses the location you set during signup to surface events near you. In-person events will default to showing results relevant to your city and region. Online events are surfaced regardless of location.
Browsing and filtering
From the discover page you can browse events using the filter tabs at the top of the page. These include Attending, Interested, This week, Popular and your selected industries. You can also filter by date and event type using the search bar filters at the top of the screen.
Finding something specific
If you’re looking for something in particular, use the search bar to filter by location, date and event type. Selecting the search button will apply your filters and return matching results.
